Managing Your Site: Setting Styles (Fonts and Colors)
Introduction

The styles you choose for your site control the look and feel of your site. Styles control:

You can create as many different styles as you want. You then apply a style to sections, columns and items. Many items allow you to apply different styles to different parts of an item. For example, on a form you can specify one style for the labels and another style for the fields.

Your collective list of styles is called a style sheet.

DbSmartSite has over 20 pre-built styles you can use or you can create your own. We include styles for horizontal menus, vertical menus, page title, site title, header section, footer section, body section, sidebars, calendar controls, heading 1, heading 2, labels, fields, standard text. All of our pre-built styles begin with the letters "Dbss".

Note: We recommend you always use our pre-built styles (those beginning with Dbss) and not create your own. That way, you can import an entire style sheet from one of our themes and it will work perfectly for your site!

The easiest way to handle styles at the start is to import a style sheet from one of our themes. You can then customize it to fit your needs.
